Mould preheating oven

Lehrs / Container glass & tableware

Description

The Pennekamp mould preheating oven is designed as a stationary chamber kiln.

It is intended for preheating and firing the moulds required for the glass forming process, in order to remove the coating material from the surface.

The chamber oven design is based on the standardised Pennekamp modular system, as found in cooling and decorating ovens.

Identical and proven components, such as air circulators, burners or heating elements, are used.
This minimises the customer’s spare parts costs.

Depending on requirements, the kilns are heated by gas or electricity and are generally designed for temperatures up to 500°C.
